About

ECTRIMS Patient Community Day was held 20 September 2024 at the Bella Copenhagen Center and online. This annual event is designed for people living with multiple sclerosis and related neurological diseases, and their caregivers, to stay updated and involved in the advancements being made on their journey towards managing their conditions.

At this year’s event, more than 300 attendees onsite and nearly 1,000 online met with the scientific community to learn about the latest research and treatment unveiled at ECTRIMS 2024.

The ECTRIMS 2024 Patient Community Day participants will dive into an exciting and informative programme featuring two interactive sessions. Session 1 will explore the latest advancements in remyelination and myelin repair, delve into emerging therapies targeting progressive MS, and examine the role of risk factors such as EBV. It will also discuss the impact of lifestyle modifications on MS, including diet, exercise, and environmental factors, alongside strategies for managing symptoms and enhancing cognition. Additionally, the session will address diversity in clinical trials and registries.
