Our Fellowship Programme: Supporting the next generation of MS leaders

Discover how our six fellowship programmes – Postdoctoral Research, Clinical Training, Nurse and Allied Health Professional Training, NMOSD and MOGAD Research, Application of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Studies in MS, and MSIF-ECTRIMS McDonald – can help advance your knowledge and expertise in the field of multiple sclerosis and related neurological conditions.

Research in MS

This ECTRIMS programme for young neuroscientists aims to help facilitate their conduct of and training in basic, clinical or applied research related to multiple sclerosis.

This ECTRIMS programme offers neurologists and other physicians the opportunity to learn the latest techniques in patient management and care, and to help foster their careers as MS physicians.

This ECTRIMS programme provides nurses & allied health professionals an opportunity to obtain or expand their expertise in MS care & research through practical experience & training in a mentored MS environment in Europe.

This joint programme with the European MAGNIMS network (Magnetic Resonance Imaging in MS) aims to foster the development of young European researchers in the application of magnetic resonance studies to MS.

MOGAD and NMOSD Research

This programme is a joint initiative with the MOGAD Eugene Devic European Network (MEDEN), a European group of clinicians and scientists dedicated to advancing research in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) and myelin oligodendrocyte antibody-associated disorder (MOGAD).

Need-Based Clinical Training (McDonald Fellowship)

This joint programme with the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) enables young MS researchers from low- and middle-income countries to work in a research institution outside of their own country.
